Bonita Springs Invitational Art Festival

Sanibel Masters Art Festival

The Sanibel Masters Art Festival has been a Thanksgiving weekend tradition on Sanibel Island for more than a 25 years. At the Sanibel Masters Festival you’ll be able to browse a wide variety of art. Everything from paintings, photography, sculpture, woodworking, glass, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, and much more.

At this festival there are 30 indoor spaces and 70 outdoor booths for a selection of 100 artists. This intimate show allows to talk with the artists and learn about their process, inspiration, and craft.

Naples Uptown Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival

Art in the Park is a community tradition that stretches all the way back to 1957. Thought to be the first outdoor art show ever held in Naples, Art in the Park offers everything you want. A bevy of arts and crafts including paintings, unique decor, photographs, wearables, and much more.

This Art Festival and Craft Fair is held on the first Saturday of every month between November and April. There’s a great chance you can catch it no matter when you visit Southwest Florida.

Peace River National Art Festival

This premier outdoor judged fine arts show in Charlotte County is on the Punta Gorda waterfront. Held in March and December each year, the Peace River National Art Festival is outstanding.

More than 8,000 visitors come to see the works of nearly 100 nationally recognized artists. Here you’ll be able to peruse fiber arts, glass, jewelry, metalwork, leather goods, photography, stone sculptures. There will also be live music, a variety of food and drinks, and witness art demonstrations.

Naples New Year’s Art Show

Coming back for its 26th year, this fine art festival and craft fair showcases professional artists from around the United States. Sunshine Art Magazine has ranked this as one of the top 200 art shows of the past decade! If you stop by this winter you’ll see why.

Held right in the heart of downtown Naples on 5th Avenue South. The Naples New Year’s Art Show runs from 9th Street South to 3rd Street South. You can find art produced in a wide variety of mediums. Take a look at pieces including metal, fiber, ceramics, painting, sculpture, wood, mixed media, and jewelry.

Last year, more than 15,000 visitors perused this outdoor art bazaar located in vibrant downtown Naples. You’ll be able to wander the oak- and palm-shaded streets in an area surrounded by Mediterranean-style buildings.

In 2021, there were 250 artists, that displayed their works that collectively are worth nearly $15 million. This show draws talent from all over the United States. This visually stunning Art Festival and Craft Fair, will keep you from boredom. There will be plenty to keep you busy in the incredible area around 5th South Street.

Cape Coral Art Festival & Market Place

Bonita Springs Art Walk

Bonita Springs National Art Festivals

Named as one of the top 60 art festivals by Art Fair. Also listed as the 11th best art festival in the nation by Sunshine Artist. The Center for the Arts Bonita Springs puts on this festival three times a year. Whether you are visiting in January, February, or March, you should try and catch this festival. It is a showcase of 200 national and international artists.

Situated in a comfortable park setting, this Art Festival and Craft Fair provides a pleasant experience. It is always satisfying to buy artworks directly from the artists. Along the way, you can taste foods and beverages from local vendors.

Art Fest Naples Invitational at Fleischmann Park

This is the 25th year of Art Fest Naples where artists display their original hand-crafted pieces. Locals and out-of-staters alike love visiting this festival! Where you can talk to the creative individuals who produce the wares for sale. A portion of the profits from this festival goes towards charities local to Naples.

Located in the 15-acre Fleishmann Park, the Art Festival and Craft Fair takes place along the sidewalks. This makes for a nice walk that connect the tennis courts, playgrounds, picnic pavilion, and baseball fields.

Here you’ll find photography, turned wood pieces, drawings, paintings, fiber art, ceramics, hand-crafted fine jewelry, and so much more. Festival artist, selected by a jury of art professionals, can win awards in different categories.

It’s free to attend this event, though they encourage making a small $5 donation to the organization Additional Needs, Inc. As an added benefit, the parking here is free and there’s plenty of it.

Sanibel Invitational Art Fest

The Sanibel Invitational Art Fest is limited to 70 vendors. Residents and visitors alike can walk the streets and explore the arts and crafts of some of the finest artists.

Sanibel Island is a unique barrier island that is located only 25 miles south of Fort Myers. Sanibel is a premier vacation destination and an Art Festival is a perfect match. The east-west orientation of the island creates an environment with gorgeous sandy beaches and an abundance of rare, beautiful shells. Sanibel is on of the best beaches in Florida. They are the best shelling beaches in the world.

You should consider visiting Sanibel Island for a different change of pace. Attending one of the art shows put on by the Sanibel Community House is a great addition to your vacation.

Naples Uptown Art Festival and Craft Fair

This is the second year that the United Arts Council has presented the Naples Uptown Art Festival in January. Located in Naples Design District, you can spend the weekend exploring the wares of talented artists. Not to mention stopping by the high-end shops and emerging businesses of this vibrant community.

The Naples Uptown Art Festival attracts juried artists from all around the United States. During this Art Festival and Craft Fair the Design District is transformed into a tremendous festival and art experience.

The Art Festival at Mercato

This smaller, more intimate event features no more than 40 artists and craftsmen. The Art Festival at Mercato is located on the lawn in the center of Mercato. Mercato is a shopping center that features 20 upscale retailers, 12 noteworthy restaurants, and luxury condos. This Naples shopping center also has a Whole Foods Market, Nordstrom Rack, and a cinema.

At this curated festival, you’ll be able to wander the lawn while interacting with artists and perusing their wares. There is something to be said for a combo, Art Festival and Craft Fair and day of Naples shopping.

Art League Of Marco Island Craft Show

Located around the corner from Marco Beach Ocean Resort. This Marco Island Art Festival and Craft Fair is presented by the Art League of Marco Island. Whether you’re just browsing or you’re shopping for something in particular, you’ll find a wide variety of artworks and crafts. The Art League of Marco Island Craft Show. Paintings and photography to mixed media work and clothing, this fair showcases it all. Juried arts and crafts exhibitors and free, live entertainment.

Marco Island is linked to the mainland by bridges located just south of Naples. This barrier island has countless beaches, resort hotels, golf courses, and marinas in addition to a network of inland waterways. The largest of Flordia’s Ten Thousand Islands, Marco Island is often described as a magical and alluring spot.

While you’re here, you can witness dolphins frolicking, walk the sun-washed, white-sand beaches, and unwind in a laidback beach atmosphere. If you’re in town January, February, or March, the monthly Art League of Marco Island Craft Show can be wonderful. A fine way to break up those long days lounging in paradise.

ArtFest Fort Myers

This is a free, non-gated art festival that takes place in downtown Fort Myers. Art from more than 200 select artists, delicious food, live entertainment, and fun art activities for kids. ArtFest Fort Myers is a great event for the whole family!

During this weekend, the waterfront is filled to the brim with incredible artwork and cultural activities. You can find artwork for sale to fit any budget. Whether you’re looking for a grand painting or a small trinket to gift to you a friend.

How to become an ArtFest VIP Club Member

If you’re centering your trip around attending this Art Festival and Craft Fair, you might consider upgrading to VIP. While attendance is free, you can join ArtFest’s VIP Club. Membership gives you access to the VIP Club Terrace, and reserved weekend parking. Coffee and treats (and mimosas!) in the morning, as well as beverages and lunches for the whole weekend.

You can purchase VIP Club tickets for the whole weekend or just for one day. You’ll also know that you’re working to help support ArtFest Fort Myers. They have faced an uphill battle due to the constraints the coronavirus has put on holding in-person events.

This community outdoor art show has been held in Naples since 1957. A Southwest Florida tradition, Art in the Park is believed to be the first outdoor art fair ever held in the city. Here you’ll be able to browse the works of a wide variety of artists and craftsmen.

Whether you’re just window shopping or you’re hoping to take a piece home with you, you’ll have a lot of options at this monthly show. You’ll find photographs, paintings, wearables, jewelry, unique decor, and a whole lot more.

This Art Festival and Craft Fair is held on the first Saturday of every month between November and April. You’ll want to try and fit this show into your trip itinerary when you’re in town.

This show is located in Cambier Park, which is a 12+ acre space right in the heart of downtown Naples. You’ll find it just south of the famous 5th Avenue South, making it a convenient stop if you’re already spending the weekend shopping at Naple’s upscale retailers and dining at exquisite restaurants.

Coconut Point Art Festival and Craft Fair

While there is another Coconut Point Art Festival held in November, the February show is the big one. Coconut Point is already an incredibly popular destination to visit. During the weekend of February 12th and 13th the area is transformed into an artists’ paradise.

With more than 200 exhibitors displaying their artwork and wares on both Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be able to stroll among incredible paintings, life-sized sculptures, ceramics, photography, and so much more. 

This year, the Coconut Point Art Festival is celebrating its sixteenth year. Presenting the works of artists while surrounded by lovely boardwalks and several acres of lakes. This stunning community is the perfect place to dine and shop on any day of the year. The transformation of the space into this art festival takes it to an entirely different level.

Naples Artcrafters Fine Art & Craft Show

The February Naples Artcrafters Fine Art & Craft Show is held in Cambier Park along 8th Street South. Located only a block and a half from the prestigious Fifth Avenue South, attending this art fair puts you within walking distance from sidewalk cafes, trendy European boutiques, and iconic art galleries.

There are a number of state-of-the-art facilities located in Cambier Park, including the Norris Community Center and the Arthur L. Allen Tennis Center. You can also find a covered pavilion, a unique community-built playground, and plenty of open green space.

The Naples Art Association is also located in the park and is a mainstay of the Naples community. They have rotating exhibitions as well as art lectures, classes, and workshops throughout the year.

Every year, there are three art and craft fairs put on by the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs. It is considered to be one of the top Fine Art Festival and Craft Fair in the entire country. With 200 national and international artists that are selected by a panel of experts, you’ll find that this is one of the biggest art festivals in the region.

The Bonita Springs National Art Festival takes place in historic downtown Bonita Springs in Riverside Park.

Last year, the Bonita Springs National Art Festivals drew artists from 32 States, 260 cities, and 3 foreign countries. 20,000 festival-goers attend these events in order to see the works of some of the finest artists nationally and internationally.

Whether you’re interested in talking to artists and learning about their process or buying a piece, you’ll find a wide variety of art. From handcrafted jewelry and metal sculptures to original paintings and pastels, there’s something for everyone here.

The focus of this show is quality and originality. The Bonita Springs National Art Festival is the must see event.

Pine Island Art Show

Pine Island is a quaint getaway located west of Fort Myers. With lush tropical greenery and opportunities for many peaceful outdoor activities, this is a lovely spot for a lowkey vacation. The largest island off Florida’s Gulf Coast, Pine Island offers the vibe of a small town. All the while surrounded by acres of tropical plants, palms, fruit groves, and mangroves.

The Pine Island Art Show showcases the works of more than 100 local artists. One of the wonderful things about this fair is that you can witness artists at all skill levels. Amateur to professional, all are showing off their skills for you. Some of the artists you see are still students, while others have gallery representations and substantial followings.

Almost all of the artists who display their work are members of the Pine Island Art Association. The subject matter of much of the artwork is inspired by the laid-back paradise that is Pine Island. 

At this Art Festival and Craft Fair, cash prizes are awarded to the first-place winners in a number of categories. A favorite is always the award for Best in Show. 

Unique Gift Idea- Pick up a ‘mini’ original painting

A standout of this art fair is that artists are encouraged to bring original “mini” paintings to the festival. This is a way to let visitors with a limited budget or limited wall space still purchase original art. These minis all come double matted and measure just 3.5 inches by 4.5 inches.

To purchase a mini artwork it costs just $10 including the tax.

This festival has become the largest event on all of Greater Pine Island. Thousands of people are drawn from all over Southwest Florida to attend. This art show still has a genuine small-town feel with members greeting you at the door.

Sanibel-Captiva Arts & Crafts Festival

30 plus years ago, the Sanibel-Captiva Arts & Crafts Festival began as a pancake breakfast that featured local artists. These days, it is one of the premier juried art shows in Southwest Florida.

Put on by the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club, this arts and crafts festival is held over President’s Day weekend. With more than 85 of the most talented artists, this is a fair where art, nature, and island history intersect.

The show takes place on tree-lined paths and gives you the opportunity to basically attend dozens of art galleries at the same time. You can happily spend a day viewing the works of these talented artists. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces to bring home with you.

One of the things you won’t want to miss at this festival is the enormous silent auction. Here you will find hundreds of incredible items up for bid. There is something for everyone here! What will you bid on? A rare bottle of wine, a ski vacation in Vermont, or giftcard to one our best SWFL resturaunts?

While you’re here, grab a cold beverage, ice cream, or a light snack from one of the vendors. 

All proceeds from this festival are used to help fund college scholarships and philanthropic projects.

Edison Festival of Light Crafts on the River

During the two-day Edison Festival of Light event, downtown Fort Myers is transformed into every craft lover’s dream. At Crafts on the River, you can see exhibitors displaying their hand-made wares at this non-juried event. This is open to artisans and crafters locally and nationally.

The atmosphere here is informal and casual, allowing visitors to talk with artists about their work, and their process. In some instances, you might even get to see the artists in action.

There is a lot of variety in terms of the mediums on display here. Everything from paintings, sculptures, jewelry, crafts, and even edible art will be showcased during this family-friendly festival.

The Edison Festival of Light has a Grand Parade, 5k run, junior parade, classic car show, and more. You’ll definitely want to check out some food and craft beer trucks set up in the downtown river district.

This Art Festival and Craft Fair is also a great educational opportunity for the whole family. It is held in honor of Thomas Alva Edison, who built a winter home in Fort Myers in 1885. He spent winters in this home for fifty years. During this time he dedicated himself to supporting local projects and charities.

After Edison’s death, the Edison Pageant of Light was held in 1938. It included a parade, a memorial service, a band concert, and a coronation ball. The event has changed greatly since, but the original intent of celebrating the work and life of Thomas Edison remains.

Bonita Springs Fine Arts at The Promenade

The Promenade is a shopping center that houses unique boutiques, exquisite eateries, high-end salons, and fine retail stores. Here you’ll find locals and tourists alike shopping at this open-air shopping complex.

Located in Bonita Springs, visiting the Promenade is only one of the things you’ll want to do while in town. Bonita Springs is situated between Fort Myers and Naples. Known for its Gulf Coast beaches and parks, you can visit the secluded Little Hickory Island Beach, Bonita Beach Park, and nearby Lovers Key State Park while in town.

If you’re visiting Bonita Springs in late February, consider visiting the Bonita Springs Fine Arts at the Promenade.

This is an intimate fine arts show with no more than 39 artists displaying their work. While you’re here, you can view everything from furniture and handcrafted jewelry to paintings and sculptures. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to talk to artists about their work, their process, and what inspires them.

Art League Of Marco Island Craft Show

Marco Island is a barrier island with plenty of resort hotels, marinas, golf courses, and beaches. Connected to the mainland by a series of bridges just south of Naples, interspersed within the island is a network of inland waterways.

This is the largest of Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands and is located on the Gulf of Mexico. Often described by visitors as a truly magical spot, Marco Island has all of the ingredients for the perfect vacation.

While you’re on Marco Island, you can walk the gorgeous white sand beaches, watch dolphins play in the water, and let go in a casual and laidback beach atmosphere. If you’re visiting between January and March, you might just be able to catch the special art show put on by the Art League of Marco Island.

The Art League of Marco Island Craft Show is located right around the corner from Marco Beach Ocean Resort. Here you’ll be able to watch free live entertainment and peruse the offerings of countless juried arts and crafts exhibitors. A tradition in the community of Naples since 1957, Art in the Park is the original outdoor art fair in the city. 

This event is held in Cambier Park, which is a 12-acre area located right in Naple’s downtown. Complete with a bandshell for music and movies, tennis and bocce courts, as well as a playground, this is a lovely place to spend an afternoon with your family.

Located just south of the highly-regarded 5th Avenue South area. Cambier Park is a great place to stop after shopping, dining, and exploring this upscale section of Naples. If you’re visiting Naples between November and April, stop by the Art in the Park show on the first Saturday of every month. (It’s worth noting, however, that you will want to check the location for the specific show you want to attend. Ocassionally it is held in a different location.)

Here you’ll be able to browse the works of a wide variety of artists and craftsmen. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for your granddaughter, searching for the perfect sculpture for your home. The Center for the Arts Bonita Springs has put on fifty-one high-quality art festivals over the course of many years. When you attend this festival, you are able to support the Center for the Arts. Featuring artworks of 200 artists from across the United States and around the world.

The Bonita Springs National Art Festival has been rated as one of the top juried fine arts festivals in the entire country. This invite only festival selects the artists who present each year. This art fest has the largest number of visitors out of all of the events in the area. More than 20,000 people pass through this festival each year. You will see some of the best artists from the United States, South America, Canada, and Europe.

This festival takes place in historic downtown Bonita Springs. The experts that select the artists and craftsmen take care to focus on quality and originality.

Visitors can choose to donate to go towards scholarships, community events, exhibitions, and low-cost art classes and programming.

Boca Grande Masters Art Festival

This March, the gorgeous grounds of the Boca Grande Hotel will be transformed into a mecca of fine art and fine wines. Previously known as the Boca Grande Resort. Displayed in an open-air venue, visitors can enjoy interacting with some of the best artists in the nation.

Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club Annual Art Festival and Crafts Fair

In its 38th year, the Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club Annual Arts and Crafts Fair takes place at the Sanibel Community House. With more than 100 artists and craftsmen from around the country, it is worth attending. This fair is particularly notable for having more than 100 silent auction items as well as items for raffle.

Money raised through this event benefits a number of different Sanibel Island Charities, local scholarships, vision and hearing-based charities.

If you’re visiting Sanibel Island while this art fair is occurring, it’ll be hard to miss it. Periwinkle Way is the main drag of the Island, so it’s conveniently located no matter what your plans are for the weekend.

Naples Artcrafters Fine Art & Craft Show

The Naples ArtCrafters Fine Art & Craft Show is a series of shows that occur once a month from October to April. These shows are held on Saturdays and are free to attend.

Most of the Naples ArtCrafters events are held in Cambier Park. However, the March show is located in Fleischmann Park. This lush 15-acre park is famous for its outdoor skatepark, but there’s a lot more to it than that. Located near the Coastland Center Mall and Naples Zoo Caribbean Gardens. This park also has playgrounds and athletic courts and fields, including pickleball courts.

On March 12th, Fleischmann Park hosts the Naples ArtCrafter event. It’s here where local juried artists and craftsmen can show the fruits of their labor. Whether you’re window shopping or looking to take something home with you, you won’t be disappointed. You’ll find paintings, sculptures, art glass, jewelry, ceramics, and so much more here.

Peace River National Art Festival

Just a little northwest of Fort Myers, Punta Gorda is a prime spot for fishing, watersports, and boating.
