Sail Marco

Description

Sail Marco is a fully certified training facility, which features a “Learn to Sail” program using the American Sailing Association’s certification system. This system is recognized by the sailing community, as well as insurance companies around the world. Sail Marco offers four courses: Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation. These are typically one- or two-day courses. Sail Marco also sponsors a sailing club offering annual, winter, summer or monthly memberships. Members can use any of the boats any day of the week. You can also participate on a daily-fee basis. Sail Marco is located at the Marco River Marina.

Area Information

Marco Island

Marco Island is located at the southernmost tip of mainland Florida’s west coast, just west of the Everglades. It is the largest inhabited island of the 10,000 Islands. It is about an hour’s drive south of the Southwest Florida International Airport. Marco Island’s main attractions are the beaches and waterways.
