Vacation Guide to Southwest Florida

Naples Pier

Description

Naples Pier was originally built in the late 1800’s for commercial purposes. Over the years, it has been rebuilt after destruction by fire and hurricanes. Today, Naples Pier is a treasured landmark and a wonderful spot for a leisurely stroll, taking in a beautiful sunset and people-watching. You’ll always find someone fishing off the Pier. There is a snack bar and bait house about midway down the Pier and a covered pavilion at the end. The beach here is clean with soft white sand, restrooms and outside showers. To get to the Pier, take 12th Avenue South to the Gulf.
