Situated just up the block from the beach, the Captiva Island Inn’s prime location helps to make up for the fact that the cottages are in need of a little TLC. 

A bit more shabby chic than some of the other Sanibel and Captiva resorts and hotels on our list.  There is still a lot to appreciate about these quaint Captiva accommodations.
