The 86 Room

The 86 Room bar is a prohibition-themed decor complete with vintage woodwork and chandeliers. As such, the atmosphere here is an awesome 1920s vibe. The staff is known for being attentive and very friendly. This whiskey bar is in historic downtown Fort Myers on Patio De Leon.

The music here adds to the lively atmosphere. Also, the old silent movies playing give a truly authentic, old-school vibe. The perfect location for a Fort Myers date night or a place to hang out with friends. In conclusion, The 86 Room is definitely worth checking out.

City Tavern

This bustling Fort Myers pub offers both live music events four days a week and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is very much that of a hometown bar where you can play darts or pool. City Tavern is a great place for a Girls Night out in the Fort Myers River District.

Buddha LIVE

Budda Live is best described as a dive bar with live music. Most nights of the week you can hear touring bands from all across the country as well as local talent. Buddha LIVE is open till 2am and leans toward heavy rock. A true diamond in the rough when it comes to the local music scene. This is the perfect spot for people looking for loud small space. If you like bar to have a bit of ‘stank’ on it, this is for you. Finally, if you are a Fort Myers headbanger there will be a show on the schedule.  Cover bands for Metallica, Tool, Godsmack and others are regulars here.

Space39 Art Bar & Martini Lounge

The Space 39 Art Bar in Fort Myers is the spot where creativity and culture meet. Known for fine drinks and lively crowds. The live music here is renowned for being on-point and the atmosphere is at once warm, comfortable, and intimate.

The walls here are covered in artwork to enrich your experience. Of note, much of which is for sale if you’re particularly taken with a piece. If you are looking for something unique, the martinis are inventive and interesting. Looking for Fort Myers Nightlife that has that hip lounge vibe? Then, Space 39 Art Bar may be right for you.

The Edge Nightclub

Searching for nightclubs in Fort Myers, FL?  This relatively new late night hangout on Hendry Street is 21+ and is building a reputation as a local favorite. With cheap drinks, free admission, and great music, this place is worth checking out if you’re looking for a more lively night out on the town.  This Fort Myers dance club really focuses on the Fort Myers Ladies Night events.

The Firestone Skybar & Martini Bar

This enormous four-story grill and sky bar in Fort Myers is located in a revamped industrial environment. A great place to watch the sunset! Keep in mind you must get here early to get a seat for sunset. The Skybar is fairly small, seating for 50 or so. People start standing in line early so when the doors open they can ride the elevator to the top. This spot is the epitome of chic. If you’re looking for a truly one-of-a-kind experience, check out the Skybar on the roof.

Not to be overlooked, the Firestone themed restaurant is great! The layout is really outstanding. I recommend sitting on the second floor overlooking the bar!!

The Keys Bar & Grille

The Keys Bar & Grille typically caters to an older crowd during the day, but by night it becomes a college hangout. Close to FGCU, the music here usually consists of pop songs from the last decade.

One of the only dueling piano bars in Southwest Florida, The Keys Bar and Grill is a lively scene and a great place to hang out on Friday and Saturday night. 

Indigo Room

If you’re looking for a clubby vibe in Fort Myers, Indigo Room is it. Open until 2 a.m. every night, this is the perfect place for those embracing their inner night owl. With DJs, pool tables, and drinks a plenty, this locale is a great place to dance without breaking the bank.  Early in the evening you will find a lot of bar hoppers who come in for a drink or two. Later is when the party starts. DJ’s start spinng after 10pm.

Barrel Room

The Fort Myers Barrel Room is that intimate hideaway, focused on whiskey, bourbon and scotch. If you like the brown liquor, the Barrel Room is your type of Fort Myers Nightlife.

The Roots and Treehouse

Roots is a spot in Fort Myers where you can hear the biggest contemporary hits of EDM. Lots of popular DJs and celebrities are invited to host the events in the evening here. Right on top of The Roots is an establishment known as the Treehouse, where solo artists and bands from around Fort Myers show off their skills.

Romance Night Club

Romance Night Club is the latin dance club in Fort Myers with free admission and a vibrant atmosphere. Put on your dancing shoes and head to the Romance Night Club this weekend to hear some of the best local DJs and dance the night away.

Cowboy Up Saloon

The Cowboy Up Saloon in Fort Myers is a unique bar with reasonably priced drinks. This is more of a local joint, so it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to get off of the more touristy trail. Whether you want to play pool, listen to some songs on the jukebox, or rub shoulders with the locals, this is a nice spot to mix up your Fort Myers divebar experience.

Downtown Social House

The Downtown Social House in Fort Myers makes you feel right at home. Miscue Lounge

The Miscue Lounge in Fort Myers is a classic pool hall that caters primarily to a local crowd. If you’re looking to get off the beaten path, you can head here for a totally different kind of Fort Myers experience. With hourly pool rates, casino arcade games, and darts, this is a standard dive bar with reasonably priced drinks.

Kava Culture Kava Bar

Looking  for something a little different when it comes to Fort Myers nightlife? Have you had your fill of tropical cocktails, creative martinis, and local craft beers? If so, head over to Kava Culture Kava Bar for a totally different type of experience.

This place is refreshingly welcoming and is complete with a relaxing patio. The drinks here are non-alcoholic instead made with kava root. Of note, Kava is a root that is indigenous to the South Pacific. It is used to make a traditional drink that is both earthy and exotic. At Kava Culture, they make their drinks the way they’re made back on the islands, by squeezing the root and serving the liquid in coconut shells.

If you’re not feeling like trying out kava, you can also try some of their elixir or one of the many botanical teas they have on tap. 

Cigar Bar Live

If you’re a cigar aficionado, consider spending an evening at Cigar Bar Live on Hendry Street in Fort Myers. The staff there goes the extra mile when it comes to making you feel right at home. Serving cold beer and providing on-point live music, this is a great place with a welcoming dive bar feel.

The Hideaway Bar in Fort Myers is a nice little hole in the wall where you can catch the game or do some karaoke on a Monday night. The prices here are very reasonable and they’re known for having exceptionally friendly staff.

Half Shell Lounge

On the hunt for a dive bar in Fort Myers? Head over to the Half Shell Lounge, where you can enjoy a cold beer and fried seafood and rub shoulders with locals in the neighborhood. The Half Shell Lounge is nothing fancy, but that’s exactly what’s so great about it.

The Lodge

This funky locale is fashioned to look just like a ski lodge, complete with faux mountain views out the “windows.” With a wall of self-serve beer taps, this is a dream establishment for any craft beer aficionado. Finding BBQ in Fort Myers isn’t always easy but in the Fort Myers River District, The Lodge is a great stop. 

I have personally been to The Lodge in Fort Myers multiple times and I always look forward to returning.  Lunch or Dinner, the staff are wonderful, and they always are ready to serve.

Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill

If you’re looking for a sports bar in Fort Myers, check out Sidelines where there are bars both indoors and outdoors as well as a patio where you can enjoy live music. With cold draft beer and bar food, this is a perfect spot  to catch the game with your buddies or on your own.  Sidelines is borderline dive bar, it’s due for a remodel and updating but for a beer and a game you will be rewarded with both here.

Celsius Night Club

This Fort Myers night club is located right downtown. If you’re ready for a high-energy night out, consider stopping by Celsius, a bi-level club with a neon-colored dance floor.
