Thus, adding to an overall great evening.

Twisted Vine Bistro

Cabos Cantina Taco & Tequila Bar

Cabos Cantina Taco and Tequila Bar is a great option for Mexican food in downtown Fort Myers. Serving craft cocktails and modern Mexican cuisine, the atmosphere here is festive and rustic-feeling. Grab yourself a mojito and a seat out on the front sidewalk for delicious Mexican food and top-tier people watching. Finally, I have yet to be downtown when this place wasn’t busy. Therefore, don’t be shocked if there is a wait.

The Lucky Screw

The Lucky Screw is a downtown Fort Myers restaurants with international bar bites, cocktails and wine. Located right off of First Street, it’s easy to find. For a nice relaxing night on the town, this may become your regular spot. Keep in mind, this bar offers live music and a casual vibe. Of note, this bar is one of the few that has a live music webcam!  Also, recorded live streams in the off hours, which is pretty cool.  

Ford’s Garage

An institution in Southwest Florida, the downtown Fort Myers Ford’s Garage location is THE ORIGINAL. Home to more than 180 craft beers, inventive burgers, and decor that pays homage to Henry Ford. When it comes to themed restaurants in the Fort Myers River District, it’s hard to beat Ford’s Garage.

Looking for something a little different when it comes to BBQ restaurants in the Fort Myers River District? Consider checking out The Lodge, a funky sports bar that transports you to a mountain chalet as soon as you walk in the door.
