Southwest Florida Airports
Southwest Florida International Airport (IATA:
RSW, ICAO: KRSW, FAA LID: RSW) is a county-owned airport in the South
Fort Myers region of unincorporated Lee County, Florida, United States.
The airport provides the primary air service to the Southwest Florida
region, including the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Naples-Marco Island, and
Punta Gorda metropolitan areas, and is a U.S. Customs and Border
Protection port of entry. It currently is the second-busiest
single-runway airport in the United States, although a 9,100-foot
parallel runway is planned for the future. In 2019, the airport served
10,225,180
passengers.
In addition, the Naples
Municipal Airport serves the Collier County area and
the Punta Gorda Airport serves the Charlotte County
area, albeit with only one commercial airline, Allegiant Air, operating
there.

10 miles southeast of Fort Myers, near
Interstate 75 and area communities. There are
three parking areas; short- and long-term
parking are within walking distance of the
terminal and a shuttle service is available to
take passengers from the terminal to the
economy car park. 1st hour of short-term
parking is free. |

Naples

The Naples
Municipal Airport is located in southwest Florida in the
beautiful tropical city of Naples. Originally established as
an Army base, the airport is now a fully operational first
class small private and commercial airport and prime
destination for businesses and vacationers alike. Naples has

Punta
Gorda Airport (PGD)
Punta Gorda
Airport is off I-75 on Florida's southwest coast between
Sarasota and Ft. Myers. Allegiant provides low-cost, nonstop air
service to approximately 40 destinations. Operated by the
Charlotte County Airport Authority, PGD is an important
transportation and economic asset for the region, providing
hundreds of jobs directly, space for business and aviation
tenants, and more than $350 million annually in overall economic
output.
