Description

Southwest Florida International Airport (IATA: RSW, ICAO: KRSW, FAA LID: RSW) is a county-owned airport in the South Fort Myers region of unincorporated Lee County, Florida, United States. The airport provides the primary air service to the Southwest Florida region, including the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Naples-Marco Island, and Punta Gorda metropolitan areas, and is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. It currently is the second-busiest single-runway airport in the United States, although  a 9,100-foot parallel runway is planned for the future. In 2019, the airport served 10,225,180 passengers.

In addition, the Naples Municipal Airport serves the Collier County area and the Punta Gorda Airport serves the Charlotte County area, albeit with only one commercial airline, Allegiant Air, operating there.
